Steps to Install OEM agent in silent mode

1] Go to the server:-

Ssh hostname

Go to any of the Oracle Base directory

Cd /oracle/app/oracle/product
mkdir -p Agent_12C/agent_inst

Go to .profile or .bash_profile
Set the environment variables.

Eg:- add this entry.
echo “Enter $B 2 $N to access OEM agent 12C  “
echo “”

Entry to be put in the env file  :- agent_12C

software for linux –

2) unzip the software and see the below one inside

unzip – please use this command to unzip

3) Please change the below in the server under agent.rsp file as per your requirement


once changing the above one in the server please run the below command as per your required changes

./ AGENT_BASE_DIR=/orahome/app/oracle/product/Agent_12C RESPONSE_FILE=/u09/agent_software/agent.rsp – use this command for silent installation which will take time to
get complete

4) Please check the status of the agent by using the below command

emctl status agent – to check the current status whether it is up and running or not

emctl start agent – to start the agent

emctl stop agent – to stop the agent

emctl upload agent – to upload the XML pending files

Please set the below one .bash_profile or .profile accordingly as per the server

export ORACLE_HOME=/db1/oracle/product/Agent_12C/agent_inst
export PLUGIN_HOME=/oracle/app/oracle/product/Agent_12C/plugins/oracle.sysman.db.agent.plugin_12.
PATH=.:$ORACLE_HOME/bin:/usr/ccs/bin:/usr/X/bin:/usr/openwin/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/dt/bin:/usr/openwin/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/ucb:/usr/aontrib/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/oracle/lib:/usr/proc/bin:$AGENT_HOME/OPatch;export PATH
