How to Manage/Correct Daily Rates through ADFDI

Introduction:-
Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications 23B (11.13.23.04.0) Information in this document applies to any oracle fusion platform.

Cause of the issue:-
In every business we will be having exchange rates since we will be performing the foreign transactions and the exchange rates are required to be configured, while doing that so, one of the business user has done a mistake in uploading the wrong exchange rates and he realized that he did mistake and need to correct the wrong rates which are already there in the system.

Normally business used to export the exchange rates from the https://www.nbp.pl/homen.aspx?c=/ascx/ArchAen.ascx

And used to prepare the ADFDI sheet manually to upload the same, while doing that so there was a manual typo copy paste error occurred.

How do we solve:-
This solution is applicable for fusion receivables environment for any version, in fusion applications we do have ADFDI which can be used to import / update exchange rates.

We need to navigate to the Manage Daily Exchange rates and download the create daily rates ADFDI sheet and prepare the exchange rates as per the sheet. Screenshot will look like below

Once you filled the data we need to click on the upload/submit option to import the data to the application..

Once the exchange rates are imported to through the ADFDI then it will be showing the message as below..

Once we are able to see the above message from the ADFDI, we need to go to the application and need to navigate to the daily rates window to validate the data.

Note: As a permanent solution, we have built an integration to the system which will automatically get the exchange rates through the interface and will update on daily basis in Cloud and we eliminated the human errors..
