When you login in R12, you could see the workflow notifications listed in the home page.
This is an new feature in R12 so that users will get notified whenever workflow pending for approval.
You could still disable this new feature by just following the below steps.
Set the following Profile Options:
Personalize Self-Service Defn = Yes
FND: Personalization Region Link Enabled = Yes
Logged out, closed browser, start a new browser and logged back in.
At the top of the Home Page above Worklist, click on the link for: Personalize “Worklist”
For the name:
Default Single Column: Worklist
click on the Pencil icon to Personalize
Under the Personalization Properties
set the Rendered to False at the appropriate level
Apply Changes
This removes the Worklist from the home page for everyone.
You cannot remove the Worklist for just one user.
