Job Requirement

  • Project Role: Oracle EBS – Sr. Finance Functional Consultant
  • Work Experience: 7+ Years
  • Work Location: Chennai

 

Technical Expertise:

  • Must Have Skills
    • Experience in 3–6 Oracle EBS Implementation / Rollout projects in EBS Finance modules – GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, India Localization (GST)
    • Experience in Order Management and Inventory modules
    • Strong experience in reconciliation between Subledger / GL and CM
    • Strong experience in Month-End and Year-End closure activities
    • Hands-on experience in various Oracle Interface processes
    • Experience in support projects with configuration and troubleshooting skills
    • Good knowledge of entire A2C and P2P flow
    • Strong experience in EBS General Ledger, Receivables, and Payables
    • Assess impact on design & solutions due to periodic patches or new functionalities
    • Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, functional configuration, testing, and client user training
    • Strong business communication and customer management skills
    • Flexibility to work overlapping India late evening / night hours
    • Customer-focused with proactive and responsive approach
  • Good To Have Skills
    • Certifications in Oracle EBS Finance Modules
    • Advanced Excel skills for performing reconciliations

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on tickets assigned in Finance Modules support queue
  • Assist Finance Senior Management during Month-End and Year-End processes
  • Support Internal and External audit teams during quarterly, half-yearly, and annual audits
  • Gather requirements and provide solution options for development projects
  • Monitor Finance module-related tickets and ensure timely resolution
  • Act as primary point of contact for customers on Finance Functional matters
  • Facilitate coordination between customer and support team
  • Identify root causes and implement permanent resolutions
  • Suggest best practices and proactively reduce recurring issues
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Continuously upgrade domain knowledge and provide advisory support to customers and internal teams
