Steps to Upgrade target OEM agent from 12.1.0.1 to 12.1.0.3 version & Cleaning up old agent home1.2)
Steps to Upgrade target OEM agent from 12.1.0.1 to 12.1.0.3 version using OEM console:1.3)
Ensure minimum 2GB free space left in the OEM agent home file system before starting the Agent Upgrade from OEM console1.4)
Ensure logged in user has the Super Administrator privilege/role for OEM access1.5)
Upgrade the OEM agent from OEM console – Click
Setup / Manage Cloud Control / Upgrade Agents
Add the target OEM agent for upgrading to 12.1.0.3 version.Click OK to continue the upgrade and ensure to run the root.sh later manually as post upgrade step which is given below as a step.

Finally, last step is to work with the sysadmin team to run the root.sh script from the OEM agent12.

Validate the upgraded OEM agent from both target agent server “emctl status agent” and from OEM console for that
particular agent. If upgrade is success then proceed to next step.1.9)

Add the agent and ensure that OEM Agent Oracle Home reflects the old home before submitting.
Refresh the page to get the update on the progress
Finally, validate the OEM 12.1.0.3 agent by restarting it, and checking all the target status which are managed by this agent.
