Ask any enterprise who has tried moving their key workloads to the cloud, and they will tell you how complicated it can get. Apart from the technical challenges, the costs can shoot up very high.

Acknowledging these difficulties, Oracle has announced a new migration service for its Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform. With this new service, businesses can now access tools and resources to streamline their cloud migration process.

Known as Oracle Life Services, it will offer a single contact for deliveries to the clients. This free-of-charge service will enable the clients to interact with Oracle’s expert cloud engineers to smoothen their migration to Oracle Cloud.

Moreover, enterprises will be able to move any application that they run on-premise and move it to the cloud. Oracle will also train their teams and map the APIs to further simplify the process.

This service has already been extended to companies like Cargill Inc., Rice University, and Seattle Sounders FC. The response has been encouraging, and Oracle believes it will help them in staying ahead of the competition.
