Scenario:
After upgrade from 11.5.10.2 to 12.2.5, Cannot compile invalids
Error:
ORA-00980: synonym translation is no longer valid
Cause :
The files in patch 18359637:R12.PO.D were not run or not run successfully.
The current synonyms pointed to wrong tables.
The following bug was submitted for this issue.
Bug 24400924 – upgrade to r12.2.5 – invalid: ora-00980: synonym translation is no longer valid
Solution:
1. Ensure that you have taken a backup of your system
2. Manually run the following scripts in test instance and see if issue gets resolved.

po_headers_gt_synonym.sql
po_lines_gt_synonym.sql
po_line_loc_gt_synonym.sql
po_dists_gt_synonym.sql
po_encumbrance_gt_synonym.sql
