Doyensys is committed to help the employees during these times of coronavirus pandemic

The coronavirus outbreak has changed life as we know it. From enforcing travel restrictions to advising work from home, the governments are taking this challenge head-on. As the world takes safety precautions to fight the novel coronavirus, here is how we can contribute in our ways.

  • Avoid community contact – We are currently in stage 2, where the virus is restricted to people who have an international travel history. Stage 3 is that of community transmission where it will spread amongst people who have not travelled to any of the affected areas. We can avoid going to the next stage by avoiding public contact. As individuals trying to do their best, try to avoid visiting public spaces and gatherings. Also, try to work from home if you can.
  • Say no to non-essential travel – We all know how the pandemic started in China and spread its claws around the globe. We can contain its further reach by avoiding travelling outside our places of residence. Try to avoid all types of non-essential travels, whether professional or personal. It is also advisable to maintain at least 1-meter distance from others. When travelling within your city, use private transport instead of public ones.
  • Sanitise – Although there is no official word on it, the pathogen is believed to stay on a surface for more than 24 hours. It spreads through the mucus membrane of eyes, mouth and nose. Thus, it is highly advised to wash your hands as often as you can. And while you are it, make it a point to wash them for at least 20 seconds. As per the recent directive from the government, it is not necessary to wear a mask if you do not have any symptoms of coronavirus like cough or fever. If you happen to cough or sleeve, use a tissue paper or use your sleeve.
  • Do not panic – Try to avoid all kinds of unverified information and heresy. Avoid forwarding them as much as believing them. It can create unnecessary distress and anxiety among the masses.
  • Be positive – We are still in the initial stages, and the government is doing its best to contain the spread of coronavirus. These are difficult times, but the positive news coming from China is a silver lining. As on 18th March, China did not report any new domestic case of coronavirus. Thus, this is a phase that will end soon. To maintain a wave of positivity, spend quality time with your family. Use this time as an opportunity to indulge in hobbies like reading or gardening. You can even use this time to pursue an online course that you had been thinking of doing for long.
