Requirement:

BPA or Requisition Template With Expense Lines ( non catalog request items) Is Not Visible for Other Languages In iProcurement

Application:

EBS Oracle iProcurement

Problem Statement:
Find BPA or Requisition Template with expense lines is available in iProcurement only for the session language in which BPA / Template was created and not the other installed languages.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect to see the expense lines on BPA available for other installed languages as well.

Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) Login as Purchasing Superuser (in Italian)
2) Enter a GBPA from PBWC and enable supplier authoring
3) Supplier update agreement and submit for approval
4) Buyer approves GBPA
5) GBPA can be filled in a specific store or in the main store
6) Login with iProcurement responsibility (in Italian)
7) Look for the items added in the GBPA just approved:  Expense Item is visible
8) Log off and log in again but in English (iProcurement responsibility)
Expense Item is not seen.

 

Cause:

New Profile in R12 was set to Null or No, which makes sure that the catalog is available for all Languages for Expense Lines in BPA.

“POR: Load One-Time Items in All Languages”

Solution:

To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:

  1. Go into the responsibility: System Administrator
    2. Navigate to System -> Profile: (At site Level)
    “POR: Load One-Time Items in All Languages” to Yes

    This will solve the problem for new documents entered after the profile option was changed!
    3. Bounce Apache Server and Clear the Apache Cache.
    4. Retest the issue.
    5. Migrate the solution as appropriate to other environments.
