- Data Recovery Advisor feature/utilty was introduced in oracle 12c to identify and repair the failure automatically,before that we have to manually identify and rectify the failure that has occurred using the view v$DATABASE_BLOCK_CORRUPTION.
- DRA simplifies our work and it is used to improve the manageability and reliability of oracle databases.Also,it is used to troubleshoot your databases.
In addition to listing the failure it also repairs the failure using repair failure command.it has the script to repair the failure,by running it ,repairs the failure.

step:1 Corrupting a particular datafile purposely and the size of the file has reduced to 1.
step:2 Then we try to create a table in the users tablespace but it throws an error ,it is because the file gets corrupted and its size is just 1.
step:3 List failure describes the failure that has occurred.
step:4 Advise failure tells about Mandatory manual actions,Optional manual actions,Automated repair options.
step:5 Repair failure preview shows the content of repair script.
step:6 Now it is repairing the failure with repair failure noprompt command.
