In these trying times of coronavirus pandemic, Doyensys is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the safety of our employees. We are committed to our responsibility towards society and consider it our duty to do our part. We are not only taking proactive measures but also have an action plan ready to maintain business continuity.

The proactive measures are in place to ensure that our employees do not contract the COVID-19 virus or become inadvertent carriers of it. Here is what we are doing to contain it.

  • We are conducting regular awareness programme on how to handle personal illnesses. We are using multiple media for this purpose such as posters, videos, emails, and holding regular sessions.
  • We are taking all the right preventative measures to maintain hygiene within our office premises. We are sanitizing our office spaces regularly with a special focus on fumigation, pest control, and wiping surfaces with a solution of ethanol (62-71% alcohol) or hydrogen peroxide (0.5% hydrogen peroxide) or sodium hypochlorite (0.1% bleach). Additionally, we have also ensured a constant supply of sanitizing products such as hand sanitizers and tissues.
  • Since the virus spreads through surfaces, we have disabled bio-metric attendance and are using only face recognition for this purpose.
  • We have discontinued all business travel.
  • We have restricted all kinds of internal group meetings and gatherings. To ensure the smooth running of the business, we have optimized all internal meetings for remote participation.
  • Our employees have been offered flexible work hours so that they can avoid peak hour traffic.
  • Employees who are sick have been directed to work from home provided their condition allows them to work.
  • Our seating plan has been tweaked to ensure a 1-meter distance between the employees at all times.
  • We have stocked masks for the use of employees who are identified as sick in the office.
  • We have adopted the Indian culture of greeting with a namaste instead of a handshake.

We have also diligently prepared an action plan to ensure the smooth functioning of our day-to-day operations and critical deliveries. This will come into implementation if COVID-19 strikes our facility.

  • All the employees will be directed to work from home even if they are not sick.
  • We have trained back-up staff to take charge if any key member of the team were to fall sick.
  • Employees will be allowed to work out of Chennai or DI Hyderabad facilities only when they are safe and Chennai city is not locked down by the government.
