This post will help to understand basic concepts of Define Inventory Organization. An Inventory organization is the facility to store and transact Item. The organization must define at least one inventory organization and one sub inventory

.You can define more than one inventory organization associated with one or more sub inventories.

Step 1: Login as Application User

Step 2: you will be on the home page as below.

Step 3: we need to navigate to Functional Setup Manager, click on User Name, and you will be able to see Setup and Maintenance option. It will navigate you to functional setup manager.

 

Step 4: below is the functional setup manager window; we could able to see all the offerings as provisioned and enabled

Step 5: we could see Financial’s Offering as provisioned and enabled; we need to click on the Implementation projects button in the below screenshot.

Step 6: Search for our Project in the search window.

 

Step 7: Search Manage Locations

Step 8: Click on + Symbol for creating the Inventory Location.

Step 9:Enter the required information for creating the inventory location and then submit

Step 10: Creating the Item Master Organization

Search the Task Item Org

Click on + Symbol for creating the Item Master Organization.

Enter the Required information for Creating the Item Master org and click on Next

Step 11: Creating actual Inventory

Task Inventory Org

Click on + Symbol for creating Inventory Org.

Enter the required information for creating the inventory organization and click on next

Enter the required information then save and close

 

Sub inventory Creation:

Task: Manage Sub inventories and Locators

Click on + Symbol for creating the Sub inventory.

Enter * Mandatory information for creating the Item class and click on Save and add details

Item Management tab enter the required information.

Security tab enter Mandatory information and then save and close.

Item Creation:

Navigator: Product management Task select Product Management Information

 

 

Tasklist click on create Item

Enter the required information for creating Item

 

Enter Item description and Life cycle phase and save

Enter all mandatory information for creating Item and then save.

Run LDAP Job
