Today, we would like to introduce Venkatesh Kumar GK who has worked with Doyensys for a long time. He is currently working in the role of Project Lead – DBA Practice and handles a key client of Doyensys. We spoke at length about his journey at Doyensys and what keeps him going. How long has been your journey with Doyensys?

I have been working with Doyensys for around 9 years.

What is your role at Doyensys?

I work as a Project Lead – DBA Practice and support a United States-based client.

What does your average day look like?

I spend around 9 hours in the office on an average where I work to support my project.

Can you quote your favourite Doyensys memory?

It would be my first opportunity to visit the US for providing onsite support to my client.

If you had to pick one aspect that you like the most about working at Doyensys, what would that be?

My favourite part is chatting with my colleagues about the new innovations and developments in our field. The office has a relaxed and calm atmosphere that motivates me to come to work every day.

How do you contribute apart from work at Doyensys? (Eg: Contributing to Events, CSR Activities, Conducting Sports etc.)

I participate in sports activities and birthday party events.

What kind of a leader are you? How do you rate yourself as a leader and what do you do to motivate your team?

I would like to be In a team where there is an emphasis on my team growth, and my individual learning is equally important. Also, I like to interact with my colleagues continuously, especially with the ones who work in the night shift.

What do you like doing when you are not at work? (Eg.: Shopping, playing games, etc)

I am a sports enthusiast and like to play cricket and chess. I keep up with the ongoing tennis and cricket tournaments and watch them live whenever I can. I also like listening to old Tamil songs.

Who do you look up to in your life – someone you would want to follow?

My dad is my biggest inspiration. Like him, I want to be a good family man and shower love to my kids always.
