Payment clearing events are not getting accounted because the error
“The journal entry line can’t be accounted until the Payables transaction that it references is fully accounted.”
Details
There was a fix done in 23B to ignore zero amount journals during all payment accounting events.
This was done to improve the performance of create accounting job.
However, due to issue identified with zero amount prepayment application, this fix was reverted back through bug 35419401 (CWB 20230609). After this both Payment created and subsequent events will again generate the zero amount journals.
Issue is being observed for payment which were created and accounted prior to CWB 20230609 but not reconciled. Reconciliation happened after CWB 20230609. These events are ending in error as application is not finding zero amount journals for payment created event.
