Cause:
- When WebLogic Server Starts,it creates a lock file with .lok extension under
$DOMAIN_HOME/server/<Server_Name>/tmp location
- It cleans .lok file when weblogic server stops
- If OS or Server abnormally rebooted during weblogic server stop the .lok file exists in $DOMAIN_HOME/server/<Server_Name>/tmp location
- Remove .lok file before restarting weblogic server or managed server
- Never remove .lok filewhen Admin or Managed Server is running
Solution:
- Navigate to $DOMAIN_HOME/server/<Server_Name>/tmp location
- Remove .lok file in tmp folder using
rm -rf *.lok
- Restart Weblogic server or managed server
