Project Role: Oracle EBS – Sr. Finance Functional Consultant

Project Role Description: Oracle EBS Finance Support and Implementation

Work Experience: 5+ yrs.

Work Location: Chennai

Technical Expertise

  • Must Have experience in 3-6 Oracle EBS Implementation/Support Roll out projects in EBS Finance modules – GL, AP, AR, FA, India Localization GST
  • Must have experience in Order Management and Inventory.
  • Must have strong experience in Month-End and Year-End Closure.
  • Must have strong experience on Various Oracle Interface Processes.
  • Should have experience in support projects with hands-on configuration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good knowledge of Entire O2C and P2P flow and should have experience in EBS General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, and GST.
  • Assess impact on design & solution due to periodic patches/new functionalities implementation.
  • Strong business communication and customer management skills.
  • Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, functional configuration, testing, and client user training.
  • Be flexible in working hours for overlap India late evening/night hours.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive and responsive approach.

Good to Have Skills

  • Certifications in EBS Finance Modules.
  • Advanced Excel skills to perform various reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on tickets assigned to your queue related to Finance Modules.
  • Assist Finance Senior Management Team for Month-End and Year-End processes.
  • Assist Internal and External audit teams for quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly audits.
  • Gather requirements and provide solution options for development projects.
  • Monitor Finance Module-related tickets and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers on Finance Functional issues.
  • Identify root causes of issues, resolve them in a timely manner, and suggest best practices.
  • Proactively identify areas that may cause future issues and resolve them to reduce ticket creation.
  • Work independently and upgrade skills by learning new areas within expertise.

Educational Qualification

Any Finance Background (MBA or M.Com) preferable.
