Issue :
GoldenGate Extract Abends With Errors OGG-01417 OGG-01262
Observation :
Using the extract parameter TRANLOGOPTIONS _DISABLESTREAMLINEDDBLOGREADER does not work the issue around.
Reason :
The issue is similar to Defect 20548587 and might arise when the Classic extract is used and there is a switch from an online to an archive log for the same sequence number. It is possible for extract to skip valid redo records causing data loss.
Fix :
Once the upgrade of the Oracle GoldenGate version was done to 12.1.2.1.6, the issue got resolved.
So the requirement is to upgrade Oracle GoldenGate version to atleast 12.1.2.1.6
