On running fs_clone it may fail with error as ‘ETCC not run in the database node’
Cause:
Oracle tries to assist customer in many ways to inform about the latest patches available and this is one of the way where oracle recommends to apply E-Business Suite Technology Codelevel Checker (ETCC) utility in Database and application. This is mandatory to run fs_clone.
Solution:
ETCC is EBS Technology code level checker, the ETCC Patch will find the missing patches in Database that needs to be applied to the E-Business Suite Release 12.2 system.
Follow the below steps to apply ETCC in EBS.
1.Apply patch 17537119 (Patch number will be available in error log) in Database and application as this is generic patch that can be run in all environments.
2.Download the patch from MOS (My oracle support) , move to the respective server and unzip it.
3.Run sh checkDBtpatch.sh in DB server.
4.Run sh checkmtpatch.sh in APPLICATION server
5.Reru fs_clone
