APEX upgrade from 4.0 to 4.2 – Technical Issues

Description:

Upgrading Oracle Application Express creates new database objects in a new schema and migrates the application metadata to the latest release.

1. Problem:Login issue – unable to login to the Apex application.

Solution: Remove the old APEX user (4.0) after upgrade.

2. Problem: Error session state protection violation

Solution: Set the “Save Session State” property to “No.”

3. Problem:Item alignment issues
